چکیده

The article presents a method for creating territory erosion hazard integrated map using RUSLE integral model, Earth remote sensing data and GIS technologies. studies carried out on this topic are presented, the analysis of which has shown more active use indicators water-erosion processes in foreign scientific works. Urgency updating methodology studying been substantiated. Theoretical foundations application models soil given, model is substantiated, optimal way proposed. research developed, consisting primary processing data, calculation factors development creation map. Based aerial photography materials, point cloud, digital elevation an orthomosaic study area were created. results geoinformation included erodibility factor topographic factor, presented. indicator watererosion hazard, complex Main patterns geographical distribution values revealed, devised assessed. It was found that schematic reflects general pattern water processes: they places where dissected relief spread. Influence shown: territories occupied by sod-podzolic loamy soils qualitatively differs from lands sandy loam widespread. Patterns different parts developed linear forms relief, formed temporary streams, described. proposed can be used to assess territory. need take into account larger number refine assessment existing ones concluded.

Soil erosion and sediment mapping in Aidoghmoush watershed appling MPSIAC model and GIS and RS technologies

Soil erosion is one of the important and worldwide environmental and economic issues. High amount of sediments accumulations behind the different structures such as dams requires several attempts to minimize their potential risks. Therefore, some quantified data will be needed in order to recognize those critical areas which requires urgent conservation. Since conventional procedures are time c...

Landslide Hazard and Its Mapping Using Remote Sensing and Gis

Landslides are amongst the most damaging natural hazards in the mountainous terrain like Himalaya. The study of landslides has drawn worldwide attention mainly due to increasing awareness of socio-economic impacts of landslides. Remote sensing images provide many useful land use information to combine in a GIS environment with other spatial factors influencing the occurrence of landslide. The l...

Estimation of soil erosion and sediment yield using GIS

A Geographical Information System (GIS) based method is proposed and demonstrated for the identification of sediment source areas and the prediction of storm sediment yield from catchments. Data from the Nagwa and Karso catchments in Bihar (India) have been used. The Integrated Land and Water Information System (ILWIS) GIS package has been used for carrying out geographic analyses. An Earth Res...

Mapping wind erosion hazard in Australia using MODIS-derived ground cover, soil moisture and climate data

This paper describes spatial modeling methods to identify wind erosion hazard (WEH) areas across Australia using the recently available time-series products of satellitederived ground cover, soil moisture and wind speed. We implemented the approach and data sets in a geographic information system to produce WEH maps for Australia at 500 m ground resolution on a monthly basis for the recent thir...

Modeling Soil Erosion Using Rusle and Gis Tools

Soil erosion involves detachment and transport of soil particles from top soil layers, degrading soil quality and reducing the productivity of affected lands. Soil eroded from the upland catchment causes depletion of fertile agricultural land and the resulting sediment deposited at the river networks creates river morphological change and reservoir sedimentation problems. However, land managers...
